Overview
Understanding aftercare program
Old triggers, stress, boredom, conflict and social pressure can return after treatment. Aftercare provides accountability, routine and relapse warning awareness.
Recovery does not end at discharge, and staying on track rarely comes down to one thing. Aftercare looks at health, triggers, behaviour, family relationships and the support system needed to keep progress steady long-term.
